On September 28, 2011, a colloquium titled “The 100th Anniversary of 1911 Revolution: Look on China’s Reform and Development from the World’s Evolution” was successfully held. The colloquium was organized by Shanghai Association of Productivity Science, and co-organized by Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai United Front Theory Research Association, and Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI).
Zhou Ruijin, President of Shanghai Association of Productivity Science and former Deputy Editor-in-chief of People’s Daily, was invited as the keynote speaker. Starting with the world’s evolution and China’s transformation during the past 100 years, Mr. Zhou talked about China’s path of reform and development, and pointed out some short-term problems and difficulties China faces, before putting forward profound reform proposals. All SISI employees attended the colloquium and listened carefully to the wonderful report.
