On the afternoon of February 24, President Zhang Baochen, Vice President Shi Shiwu, Division Chief Deng Yanjie of Research Division, Director Zhang Lu of Electrical and Information Communication Technology Research Center, Director Bai Jing of Information Center, Deputy Director Ni Peng of Logistics Center, and Deputy Division Chief Yu Xiujuan of Development Division from China Waterborne Transportation Institute, visited the Lingang New Campus of Shanghai Maritime University for investigation and exchanges. SMU President Huang Youfang and Vice-President Xiao Baojia attended the exchange meeting.

Secretary-General Zhen Hong of Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) participated in the meeting, and introduced to President Zhang Baochen and his group the major tasks and achievements of SISI since its establishment. Mr. Zhen Hong expressed SISI’s willingness to strengthen cooperation with the Waterborne Transportation Institute to contribute to the development of China’s water transport industry through joint efforts.
