Manfred G. Siegle, professor of Jade University Wilhelmshaven, visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) November 26 2012.

Prof. Siegle came to seek the possibility of research cooperation with SISI and Shanghai Maritime University on supply chain management aiming at optimizing global supply chains and logistics as a whole. He and his colleague were received by Prof. Zhen Hong, Secretary General SISI and two Deputy Secretary General SISI. With a brief introduction of the two sides respectively, they both expressed great interest in probing into the possibility of supply chain optimization.

Prof. Siegle serves at the Department of Management, Information, Technology of Jade University Wilhelmshaven. He is also Chairman of the VDI (Association of German Engineers) in the OFR Germany.
