On June 20, a group of MBA candidates from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University led by Martin Blom came to visit SISI and elaborated on their research on sustainability in the port of Shanghai and Rotterdam.

The group first brief introduced themselves and their research topic. Rocky Zhao from Port Research Development of SISI detailed Shanghai Port’s practice on low carbon emission, offshore electricity supply as well as cargo collection and distribution system. They also discussed the initiative of Shanghai government, port authority and enterprises to achieve a environmentally-friendly and energy-saving port development.
