A delegation of teachers and students from California Maritime Academy (CMA) visited Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) on May 12, 2014. Zhou Dequan, deputy chief of SISI Domestic Shipping Research Department, and others warmly welcomed the delegation.

Ren Wei from SISI International Cooperation Department briefed the CMA delegation on SISI. Deputy Chief Zhou introduced the main products, shipping data and information collection, and domestic shipping research institute of the SISI, and answered questions from the visiting delegation. The CMA delegation said that the visit benefited the teachers and students a lot in that it enabled them to better understand shipping development in China and research capability of the SISI.
