To implement the national strategic plan and the development requirements made by Jiangsu province, Nanjing formulated the Plan for Building the “Nanjing Yangtze River International Shipping & Logistics Center” in 2005, which laid a solid foundation for the planning and construction of the center. Against such a background, this report proposes the plan for Nanjing to build the Yangtze River International Shipping & Logistics Center, specifies its development thought, goals and strategy, spatial layout and supporting system, and works out the tasks and guarantee measures, so as to guide and coordinate the construction and development of the center.
