On July 4th, Harry Geerlings, professor in governance of sustainable mobility in the Department of Public Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, member of SmartPort 2.0 (a cooperation between the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Delft University of Technology) came to Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) once again. He was warmly received by Prof. Li Gang and Prof. Zhang Jieshu, both deputy secretary-general of SISI. They made a brief introduction of global alliance of shipping think tanks initiated by SISI to him and invited ESPR (Erasmus Smart Port Rotterdam) to join. Both sides also discussed statistics sharing of Port of Rotterdam andentrusted research. This time Harry will stay for a week during which he will hold a workshop on July 7 and July 8 and offer consulting services to SISI’s five research departments.
