On the afternoon of July 19th, Shanghai International Shipping Institute was invited to host the Hot Spot Forum on of International Shipping Market, focusing on the latest competition pattern and evolution trend of the current international shipping market, discussing the latest development of the international shipping market from the perspectives of big data and shipping prosperity index, providing decision-making support and program suggestions for the industry, attracting nearly 200 colleagues in the port and shipping industry.

Du Zhongping, founder and CEO of Loongship Technology, delivered a speech on "Data-driven Container Water-land Intermodal Transport Digital Intelligence Upgrade". He pointed out that the initial formation of transportation data infrastructure is fully empowering the upgrading of the global logistics supply chain industry of China Manufacturers, and the digitalization of transportation has entered the stage of releasing externalities and dividends.

Zheng Jingwen, Deputy Director of International Shipping Research Department, SISI, delivered a speech on "Analysis of the Competition Pattern and Development Tend of International Container Shipping Market ". She believed that from a historical point of view, the container transportation market has undergone three major pattern adjustments, focusing on the reasons for the third industry reshuffle and the industry pattern after the reshuffle;

He pointed out that in the first half of 2023, the production situation of major container ports in the world continued the downward trend in the second half of 2022, and the growth rate of container throughput further declined.
