To date, for the second quarter of the year, DHT has locked in 42% of its spot market operating days at an average daily rate of $54,200. When spot market and time charter vessels are combined, this equates to 54% of ODT at an average daily rate of US$46,900.

To date, DHT Holdings operates 24 VLCCs at a break-even point of approximately US$27,500 per day, of which 19 are operating in the spot market and 5 on time charter. In addition, DHT will build 4 VLCCs in Korea, 2 of which will be built by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries and 2 by Hanwha Offshore & Marine, which are expected to be delivered from April to December 2026. Meanwhile, DHT has an option for another four vessels to be delivered in the first half of 2027.
