On June 22, 2011, Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) organized the competition of red song chorus in the Grand Hall to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Among all contestants from 19 departments, Shanghai International Shipping Institute (hereinafter referred to as “SISI”) won the 2nd prize.

Chorus is a comprehensive activity, demonstrating not only the singing skills, but more importantly the spirit, collective conception and engagement of SISI. Enjoying a high reputation in the industry for its professional competence, SISI has established extensive partnership with other organizations. Therefore, leaders and sales representatives of SISI are always out of office for business trips. Though pressed for time and short of hands, SISI took full advantage of lunch breaks for practices and tried every shift available to reschedule business trips, so as to ensure a successful convening of the competition. All staff joined in the competition of red song chorus in a wonderful state of mind and received good results.
