Hwang Jin-Hoi, Director of shipping Policy Research Department of Korea Maritime Institute (KMI), and his colleagues, Kim Eun-Soo, China Research Center Representative, and Huang Fuxing, Research Assistant at China Research Center, came to Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) on September 9, 2011 to discuss preparations for the second cooperative forum between the two institutes.
The two sides agreed that the second KMI-SISI International Joint Forum would be held on December 15, 2011 in Shanghai, and four topics for in-depth discussion on the Forum were proposed during the preparatory meeting.
KMI-SISI International Joint Forum aims at reviewing trends and issues of the global shipping and logistics market and mid-and long-term market changes, along with shipping and logistics experts from Korea and China. It also provides shipping and logistics companies in both countries with valuable information for their mid- and long term business plans and investment strategies. The first KMI-SISI International Joint Forum was held on November 8, 2010. |
