On October 24, 2013, Vivek Jain, Manager of Shanghai Representative Office of the Charterers P&I Club, and Gao Danni, Claims Executive, paid a visit to Shanghai International Shipping Institute(hereinafter referred to as SISI). Li Gang, Deputy Secretary General of SISI warmly received the visitors.

At the meeting, Vivek first introduced the business scope, main insurance products and services of the Charterers P&I Club, and elaborated on the claim procedures of liability insurance and defense insurance. Deputy Secretary General Li Gang expressed warm welcome to guests from the Charterers P&I Club and give a brief introduction on SISI. Both sides discussed the potential cooperation in the future. Besides, Li Gang warmly invited Vivek Jain to SISI for a seminar on marine insurance.
