On October 13, 2010, the 2nd Jiangyin International Advisory Committee held its 2nd annual meeting in Jiangyin Municipality. Professor Zhen Hong, Secretary-General of Shanghai International Shipping Institute (SISI) and member of Jiangyin International Advisory Committee attended the meeting and presented his views on the development of ports in Jiangyin.

The meeting focused on “Simultaneous transformation of the city and economy, synchronous promotion of the industry and people’s well-being”. Members of the Committee from both at home and abroad exchanged open minds, putting forward new thinking, ideas and strategies for speeding up the economic transformation and development in Jiangyin.
